Well, after all the preparation and learning and mistakes it’s almost here. At 2.00 pm BST on Wednesday – that’s approximately 48 hours away – my latest novel will be released into the world.
I’m doing a FaceBook Live launch, which in itself is fairly terrifying. My practice runs have been disastrous, and I’ve reached the point where I am convinced this is all going to be a huge flop.
After investing money in promotions – something I’ve never done before – and a blog tour I am convinced it will all come to naught and nobody will buy my book. I’m sure I will pick myself up again in time for the book launch but right now I’m throwing a major wobbly.
Although I believe I can write and my books are worth buying I keep asking myself, ‘Will anyone buy them?’
